Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the campground near Yosemite was a mixed bag. On one hand, the setting was beautiful with a lovely trout stream and great privacy at our campsite, not to mention the live entertainment and delicious hamburgers on Friday nights. On the other hand, I had a disappointing encounter with management, which cast a shadow over our experience. The lack of cell service and spotty Wi-Fi added to the feeling of being somewhat isolated, which some might find ideal, but it wasn't for everyone.
This campground has quickly become one of our favorites! The location is fantastic, just a stone's throw from Yosemite, and the cabins were immaculate and equipped with everything we needed. While the staff was great and very attentive, the bathrooms could definitely use some more frequent cleaning, especially during weekends. Overall, it's a quiet and enjoyable place to stay, but just be prepared for some noise from fellow campers late at night.
My experience at Thousand Trails, Yosemite Lakes was quite shocking and disappointing. A tree fell on our van and RV, causing significant damage, which the staff handled poorly without any follow-up. The campground itself had maintenance issues, like broken picnic tables and overgrown grass, impacting our stay. Overall, it was not the relaxing getaway we had hoped for.
Our stay was memorable and relaxing, especially in the hillside yurt, which was clean, comfortable, and equipped with everything we needed, including great heating and cooling systems. While the surroundings and amenities were picturesque, I did notice issues with cleanliness in common areas like the laundry. Overall, this resort offers great value for a nature-focused getaway near Yosemite.
I had an amazing experience at this campground just outside Yosemite! From the moment I arrived, Tom and Susan made every effort to ensure our stay was perfect. The grounds were well-kept and had a friendly and attentive staff. However, my friend's yurt stay was marred by a mouse problem that led us to cut the trip short. Overall, it's a delightful place but watch out for potential pest issues in the yurts if you're sensitive to that.
